PURPOSE & OBJECTIVES
Khalsa Alliance USA is a religious non-profit oganization whose goals are to advocate the freedom to practice Panthic fundementals & traditions, coordinate to preserve, propagate and create awareness of the Sikh national identity, history and culture.
Khalsa Alliance’s volunteers coordinate with the Sikh community at large to develop community-based criteria, activities and events compatible with core Sikh values and traditions to accomplish the aforementioned objectives. Khalsa Alliance’s staff also works in coordination with other organizations to encourage human rights and the freedom to practice the fundemantals of Sikhi.
Awareness of Sikh issues and challenges are accomplished by Khalsa Alliance’s media based initiatives : Khalsa Press and Panthic Weekly.
ACTIVITIES
Khalsa Alliance coordinates with other Sikh organizations and entities in research & development of educational, and multimedia materials, and methods in the fields of :
• Electronic Medium through the Internet, CD/DVD distribution channels.
• Campaigns and Seminars on Sikh national issues and challenges.
• Research and presentation on Sikh History, Traditions and values
• Practice of Gurmukhi Language, Classical Music, and Spiritual Awareness as prescribed by Sikh Scriptures.
